Notes from the dealer
Enthusiasts who crave daily engagement will find the Broncoâs dynamics especially rewarding, whether carving through rural curves or enjoying an open stretch. The one-owner, non-smoker history adds peace of mind for those who value a vehicleâs provenance as much as its performance, and local ownership means it has been driven in conditions familiar to eastern Iowa drivers. The Broncoâs seating position and controls are designed for those who notice the difference between a lifeless commute and a drive that genuinely wakes you up.
Performance is where the Bronco stands out from rivals. Its 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine pairs seamlessly with a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering crisp throttle response and quick, decisive shiftsâ"especially engaging when you select manual mode and command the gears yourself. The steering is weighted for confidence, offering excellent feedback that lets you sense the roadâs surface and adjust your inputs accordingly. The suspension, bolstered by the Sasquatch Package, settles confidently after bumps and remains composed at speed, inspiring you to seek out twisty backroads. Braking is reassuring, with a firm pedal feel that encourages spirited driving without sacrificing everyday comfort.
Safety tech in the Bronco is tuned for those who want assistance without interference. Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control work in the background, stepping in only when needed to maintain your intended line, while ABS brakes and 4-wheel disc brakes deliver predictable stopping power. Emergency communication via 911 Assist adds a layer of confidence, but the systems never dull your connection to the vehicle; instead, they support assertive driving by increasing control rather than taking it away. The integrated roll-over protection and dual front/side airbags further enhance peace of mind, especially when exploring the limits of open-road driving.
The Broncoâs Equipment Group 101A and Sasquatch Package add features that blend utility with fun. The convertible hardtop amplifies the roadster spirit, while FordPass Connect keeps you wired in on every journey. The 7-speaker SiriusXM with 360L audio system delivers a powerful soundtrack, and the rear camera plus exterior parking camera help you maneuver confidently in tight spots.
Against competitors like the Jeep Wrangler Convertible and Toyota 4Runner, the Bronco sets itself apart with its sharper steering, more refined chassis, and superior on-road composure.
Is the Bronco truly engaging to drive? Absolutelyâ"the steering invites precise inputs, the transmission responds quickly in sport or manual mode, and the suspension keeps the SUV composed on everything from city streets to canyon roads. On twisty routes, the Bronco feels planted and eager, letting you enjoy each corner without excessive roll. The throttle is responsive for brisk merging, and the convertible hardtop makes every drive memorable.
To experience how the Bronco transforms daily driving into a rewarding adventure, visit Lynch Ford Chevrolet at 410 Business 30 Sw Mt Vernon, IA 52314 or call 319-895-8500. Their team can introduce you to this one-owner, locally maintained convertible SUV and help you discover just how much fun your next commute or road trip can be behind the wheel.
Peace of mind

The 2022 Bronco Raptor is an absolute monster in the best way. Tons of power, incredible suspension, great interior, and endless fun. I love this truck more every time I drive it. Worth every penny. - 5.0
1st Bronco = A+

I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile! - 5.0

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.
