Notes from the dealer
This SUV is a strong choice for those researching versatile crossovers with a blend of comfort and modern amenities. Heated seats and a heated steering wheel enhance cold-weather comfort, while the power-adjustable driver seat and split-folding rear seats let you adapt to varying passenger and cargo needs. For families and commuters in the Sw Mt Vernon, IA area, features like remote keyless entry and rear seat flexibility support daily errands, weekend trips, and changing routines. The verified non-smoker, one-owner status means youâre considering a vehicle with a transparent, trustworthy background.
Performance in the TrailBlazer RS is guided by a 1.3L Ecotec Turbo engine paired with a smooth CVT, delivering a balanced drive that excels in city commuting and highway travel alike. The ride & handling suspension provides a composed experience on uneven roads, while the powertrainâs efficient design means fewer stops at the pump. Drivers will notice responsive steering and confident acceleration for merging or navigating urban environments, making the model well-suited for both new and experienced drivers prioritizing ease of use.
Safety is a core focus in this SUV, with advanced systems that support driver confidence in daily scenarios. The lane departure warning gently alerts you if you drift out of your lane, and the exterior parking camera rear makes tight parking situations less stressful. Four-wheel disc brakes and ABS help maintain control on slippery roads, while a full suite of airbagsâ"including knee and rear side impactâ"offer layered protection. Electronic stability control and traction control systems actively monitor and adjust vehicle dynamics to maintain grip and composure, especially in challenging weather or emergency maneuvers.
Key features in the TrailBlazer RS are designed for convenience and connectivity. The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System, integrated with SiriusXM radio and steering wheel-mounted audio controls, keeps you connected and entertained on every drive. Comfort is enhanced with dual-zone air conditioning and power driver lumbar support, while practical touches like the flat-folding front passenger seatback and rear window defroster add everyday utility. The Preferred Equipment Group 1RS includes thoughtful upgrades tailored for an enjoyable and adaptable driving experience.
Compared to competing compact SUVs such as the Honda HR-V and Hyundai Kona, the TrailBlazer RS stands out with its turbocharged engine and a robust set of standard comfort features. The HR-V offers spaciousness but lacks the turbo punch of the Chevrolet, while the Konaâs sportier handling comes at the expense of some ride comfort. This SUVâs strong value is further enhanced by a one-owner, non-smoker history and a comprehensive feature set that rivals or surpasses its segment peers.
What are the key features of this vehicle? The TrailBlazer RS offers heated seats, heated steering wheel, Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System, lane departure warning, and a flexible cargo area. How does this vehicle perform in daily driving? Its turbocharged engine and CVT provide smooth, efficient acceleration and responsive handling ideal for city and highway use.

Actually Better Than Subaru
by Actual OWNER on 6/10/2026 2:14:57 AM
I owned a Trax and now a 2026 Trailblazer LT with lots of packages. I find this less expensive than the RS and Activ yet has the features! Rides great on bumpy country roads near my house! FWD Turbo 3 is surprisingly fast and metal chain ⛓️💥⛓️ cvt is better than the shifts ...smoother... I added a Kicker under seat subwoofer and new kicker speakers..now Trailblazer is perfect. - 4.0
Great Budget Car
by Jason on 4/13/2026 1:58:40 PM
It was very easy to average 35-37 mpg on the highway if you drive conservatively. The interior was mediocre and felt rather cheap. Cabin noise could use some improvement as well. The biggest issue for me was the brakes squeaking so loudly. I took my car to Chevrolet many times, and they said the brakes are perfectly fine. If you are in search of a budget vehicle and have a small family, this vehicle would be perfect. Otherwise, the car was smooth and nice to drive. - 5.0
Impressive little SUV
by ScottyB on 2/25/2026 7:09:36 PM
Replaced my 2019 Camaro with a 2021 Trailblazer LT. Smaller 1.3 engine, but the turbo moves it along briskly. Handling is slow, but the ride is decent. Interior is quiet and well laid out. Similar layout as the Camaro so transition was easy. Decent infotainment system and wireless connection for android or apple. Heated seats are welcome as well as the auto setting on the HVAC. Power seats and even lumbar are a nice feature. So far I am pleased with the vehicle, I had no issues with my Camaro other than I racked up a lot of miles and needed a lower mileage daily driver. Chevy was my first choice based on prior experience.
