Notes from the dealer
Enthusiasts who value tactile engagement and dynamic feedback will appreciate how the Bronco Badlands transforms daily commutes and weekend escapes around Iowaâs varied roads into something more immersive. The heated steering wheel and leather-trimmed bucket seats add comfort without sacrificing the connection to the road. For drivers who judge a vehicle by its steering weight, pedal modulation, and overall sense of unity, this SUV stands out. The local one-owner history further underscores its appeal for buyers seeking a well-cared-for, enthusiast-focused model.
The heart of the Bronco Badlands is the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, which delivers brisk throttle response that makes merging and passing feel effortless. In sport mode, the transmission anticipates spirited inputs, shifting with crisp precision and minimal delay. Steering remains weighted and quick, communicating road texture while keeping the SUV composed in rapid transitions. The front wheel independent suspension and front anti-roll bar help the Bronco settle confidently into sweeping curves, while four-wheel disc brakes supply reassuring stopping power with progressive pedal feel.
Confidence behind the wheel is bolstered by safety systems that support, rather than intrude on, the driving experience. Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control intervene subtly to maintain composure on slick or uneven pavement without dulling driver involvement. Evasive Steering Assist and the full suite of cameras, including a 360-degree system, provide clear feedback for precise maneuvering. Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Keep Assist offer an extra layer of awareness on winding roads, acting as cooperative copilots rather than taking over the experience.
The Equipment Group 334A Lux Package elevates the Bronco Badlands with a 12" LCD capacitive touchscreen, B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, wireless charging pad, navigation, and adaptive cruise control. These features enable drivers to focus on the road while enjoying seamless connectivity and comfort. Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control and heated front seats keep the cabin tailored to preference, while smart charging USB ports ensure devices stay powered during spirited drives or longer journeys.
Compared to other sport-oriented SUVs like the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro, the Bronco Badlands distinguishes itself with sharper steering feedback and a chassis that feels more planted and predictable at speed. Where the Wrangler leans toward ruggedness and the 4Runner emphasizes all-terrain durability, the Broncoâs independent front suspension and advanced driver aids create a uniquely balanced experience for those who relish both backroad agility and daily comfort.
Driving enthusiasts often ask whether the Bronco Badlands is truly engaging to driveâ"and the answer is yes, thanks to its well-calibrated steering, responsive throttle, and quick-reacting transmission in sport mode. On twisty roads, it remains composed, balancing fun with control. The heated steering wheel enhances cold morning drives, while the sound system and navigation streamline longer journeys.

I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile! - 5.0

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.
