2020 Lincoln Corsair Reserve

Notes from the dealer
This coupe is tailored for analytical buyers who weigh every dollar against equipment and comfort. If you prioritize receiving luxury appointments such as a premium Revel audio system, heated rear seats, and advanced driver assist technologies without upcharging, the Corsair Reserve delivers. Those commuting around Sw Mt Vernon, IA or similar climates will appreciate the AWD system, heated steering wheel, and windshield wiper de-icer, which come standard for all-weather confidence. The non-smoker ownership further reassures buyers who value interior cleanliness and long-term care.
Performance in the Corsair Reserve is delivered by a 2.0L I4 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and AWD, striking a balance between spirited driving and efficiency. This powertrain provides a satisfying drive for daily commutes or weekend trips, without the fuel thirst typical of larger engines. The combination of efficient power delivery and AWD traction means lower fuel expenses over time and less frequent stops at the pump, while the I4 engine keeps maintenance costs manageable compared to performance-oriented V6 or turbocharged competitors.
Safety value is central to the Corsair Reserve's appeal, with standard features such as Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, ABS brakes, rear camera, and multiple airbags included without the need for costly add-ons. Many competing sports coupes require buyers to upgrade trims or select expensive technology packages to access similar safety systems. Here, these features are built into the vehicle, giving peace of mind and saving out-of-pocket expenses while maintaining a high standard for active safety.
This model comes equipped with Equipment Group 200A and the Elements Package, bundling dual zone climate control, heated and cooled front seats, heated second row seats, and a heated steering wheel as standard. The panoramic Vista Roof, navigation system, and Revel audio ensure a premium experience on every drive. Features like rain-sensing wipers and power liftgate add everyday convenience, while the memory seat and steering wheel functions allow for effortless personalization, all included at no extra cost.
Value comparisons reveal that while rivals like the BMW X2 and Audi Q3 often charge extra for features such as heated rear seats, navigation, and premium audio, the Corsair Reserve includes them as standard. The AWD system and panoramic roof, usually bundled into higher-cost packages with competitors, are part of the standard offering here. This results in a more comprehensive equipment list and a lower overall cost-to-feature ratio, maximizing value without compromising quality.
Frequently asked questions focus on standard inclusions, and this coupe delivers: navigation, panoramic roof, heated and cooled front seats, heated second row, and advanced safety features are all standard. The Reserve trim is the value sweet spot, as stepping up or down would either add unnecessary cost or remove key appointments.

Gas Gauge Jumped to Zero
by MalB on 10/20/2025 1:04:20 PM
Ran out of gas TWICE while driving from NH to FL recently. First time, the gas gauge suddenly read 16 miles left in gas when I noticed and then 16 went down to 0 in a minute. Fortunately, we were just leaving a Travel Center that had gas stations! The next time while on I-95, just entering NC, I noticed the gas gauge suddenly read 65 miles left in gas and then the gauge proceeded to go to 64, 63, etc. I drove off at the next exit and into a parking area of a small bulding that held people entering/exiting just as the gauge reached zero! A person there offered to take my husband to a gas station while I tried unsuccessfully to reach AAA. Fortunately, that person returned with the gas and even put it in the gas tank. We were lucky! Our dealership had not heard of this problem, but there have been similiar reviews by others.
