Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic buyers seeking a dependable SUV with enduring value will find the Outback Limited well-matched to their needs. Its AWD system is especially suited for areas like eastern Iowa, where changing weather and rural roads make traction and stability a priority. The combination of comfort featuresâ"such as heated front and rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power liftgateâ"supports daily routines, family outings, and longer road trips without compromise.
A proven 2.5L 4-cylinder DOHC 16V engine paired with a CVT Lineartronic transmission provides balanced performance for years of low-stress driving. This configuration is known for its longevity and smooth operation, ideal for owners planning to keep their vehicle well past the initial purchase. With EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway, the Outback delivers efficiency that helps manage ongoing fuel costs without sacrificing capability, especially when all-wheel drive is needed for varied terrain or seasons.
Active safety equipment is central to the Outback Limited's appeal, minimizing risk and protecting your investment over the long term. Standard features include ABS brakes, electronic stability control, brake assist, multiple airbagsâ"including knee and side impactâ"and a rearview camera. STARLINK Safety Plus further enhances peace of mind with connected emergency communication, while auto high-beam headlights and fog lights improve visibility in adverse conditions. These features work together to help keep both occupants and the vehicle itself protected.
This SUV is equipped with a suite of comfort, convenience, and technology features designed to make ownership enjoyable and stress-free. The Power Moonroof & Heated Steering Wheel & Navigation System package provides added luxury and functionality, while leather-trimmed upholstery and memory seats cater to both driver and passenger preferences. STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus brings seamless infotainment, and the harman/kardon speaker system ensures a premium audio experience. Other highlights include a power liftgate, garage door transmitter, and heated mirrors.
Compared to segment rivals like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the Outback Limited stands out with standard all-wheel drive and a strong track record for holding its resale value. While all three SUVs provide reliability and practicality, this model's combination of comfort features, advanced safety equipment, and enduring Subaru engineering makes it a standout for those prioritizing long-term value and ownership satisfaction.
Common ownership questions include warranty coverage, brand reliability, and fuel efficiency. The Outback Limited came with a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 5-year/unlimited mile corrosion warranty from Subaru, offering substantial protection against major repairs. Subaru vehicles are widely recognized for their long-term dependability and owner satisfaction, factors that contribute to lower depreciation and fewer unexpected expenses.

2024 OUTBACK WILDERNESS
by 24OutbackWilderness on 6/16/2026 9:44:50 PM
I have owned at least 9 Subaru's over the years to include STI's and Outback's. I only have 8k miles on my 2024 Outback Wilderness and bought it new from local dealer. Even with the low miles, I will not sell this until my 10 year / 100k warranty is up. I LOVE this Outback and everything about this year and model. The last of the wagon body style is a big reason that I really like it, as I am not a fan of the Outback redesign in any way, shape or form. Find a 24/25 model Wilderness and you will be so much happier than the new gen redesign.
