Notes from the dealer
Shoppers comparing several SUVs for family, adventure, or daily driving will appreciate how this Bronco Outer Banks bridges rugged capability with luxury-focused comfort. Itâs particularly well-suited for those in areas like Eastern Iowa, where changing seasons and varying terrain demand adaptable traction and advanced climate features. Buyers who expect both convenience and sophistication from their SUVâ"such as heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic temperature controlâ"will find the Broncoâs Equipment Group 314A Lux Package elevates everyday driving above whatâs typically offered in this class.
Performance-wise, this SUV leverages its 2.7L EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver smooth, responsive acceleration and versatility in demanding situations. While the Toyota 4Runner relies on a more dated powertrain and the Jeep Wrangler delivers a rougher ride, the Broncoâs advanced drivetrain and 4WD system provide both robust off-road confidence and refined on-road composure. The independent front suspension and 4.7 final drive ratio ensure balanced handling, making it as comfortable taking on a muddy trail as it is cruising on the highway. EPA ratings of 19 city and 21 highway MPG further highlight its efficiency advantage over many peers.
Safety is an area where this Bronco Outer Banks excels, particularly with active safety features often reserved for higher trims or optional packages on competitors. Standard ABS, electronic stability control, traction control, and an exterior parking camera make daily operations more secure. Auto high-beam headlights and emergency communication via 911 Assist are included, providing peace of mind whether navigating busy streets or remote areas. The integration of dual front and side impact airbags, along with roll-over protection, sets a benchmark in this segment for comprehensive occupant security without requiring extra-cost upgrades.
This Bronco comes equipped with the Sasquatch Package and the Equipment Group 314A Lux Package, bundling premium technology and comfort features such as Connected Navigation and a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen. The Ford Connectivity Package offers a year of enhanced services, while remote keyless entry and power-adjustable front seats make every journey effortless. The Carbonized Gray Molded-in-Color Hard Top with a sound-deadening headliner and advanced climate controls ensure a quiet, comfortable ride even on rough terrain.
Compared to the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner, the Bronco Outer Banks asserts its value with a more modern powertrain, a significantly upgraded tech suite, and a greater focus on passenger comfort.
Why choose this Bronco over rivals? Its 2.7L EcoBoost V6 and 4WD system offer superior performance and adaptability. What does it offer others don't? The combination of the Lux and Sasquatch packages means you get advanced navigation, premium audio, and heated amenities standard.

1st Bronco = A+

I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile! - 5.0

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.
