Notes from the dealer
This SUV caters to buyers who value versatility and premium amenities without sacrificing rugged utility. In regions where unpredictable weather and challenging terrain are commonâ"like Sw Mt Vernon, IAâ"the Bronco's 4WD system and heated features provide confidence and comfort year-round. The Outer Banks trim includes conveniences such as heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power driver seat, making it suitable for both daily family use and longer road trips.
Driving the Bronco Outer Banks delivers a refined yet robust experience thanks to its 2.7L EcoBoost V6, which offers smooth power delivery and quick response through a 10-speed automatic transmission. The drivetrain's 4WD capability, paired with an independent front suspension and off-road-focused packages like the Sasquatch Package, helps the SUV tackle rough roads and inclement weather without hesitation. Composed handling and responsive steering make everyday errands or highway cruises feel secure and comfortable.
Safety is a core focus for this model, integrating a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems. The Bronco comes equipped with electronic stability control, ABS brakes, traction control, dual front and side airbags, and an exterior parking camera for confident maneuvering in tight spaces. The emergency communication system (911 Assist) adds peace of mind by connecting occupants to help in the event of a collision, while auto high-beam headlights and brake assist contribute to safer driving in low-visibility conditions.
Notable features include the Equipment Group 314A Lux Package, which adds luxury and connectivity elements, as well as the 60th Anniversary Package for exclusive trim details. The Ford Connectivity Package provides a year of advanced connected services, while the B&O Sound System by Bang and Olufsen delivers enhanced audio quality. Additional amenities such as navigation with Connected Navigation, SiriusXM with 360L, heated door mirrors, and remote keyless entry round out a tech-forward, user-friendly interior.
Against segment competitors like the Jeep Wrangler Sahara and Toyota 4Runner Limited, the Bronco Outer Banks distinguishes itself with its modern turbocharged engine, advanced connectivity, and premium comfort features. While the Wrangler offers similar ruggedness, the Broncoâs interior appointments and technology edge it ahead for those seeking both adventure and convenience. The 4Runner matches the Broncoâs durability but lacks the same level of infotainment and luxury options.
Key questions for researchers include: What are the main features? The Bronco Outer Banks offers heated front seats, navigation, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, and a suite of connectivity options. How does it perform in daily driving? The EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed automatic deliver smooth power for urban and highway use, while 4WD ensures traction in adverse conditions.

1st Bronco = A+

I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile! - 5.0

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.
