2025 Chevrolet Tahoe RST

Notes from the dealer
Analytical buyers prioritizing measurable value will appreciate how the Tahoe RST trim consolidates comfort, technology, and utility without nickel-and-diming for essentials. Itâs ideal for families or professionals who demand spacious three-row seating, power-folding rear seats, and a comprehensive infotainment suite, all included as standard equipmentâ"features that add up quickly as options elsewhere.
Under the hood, this SUV is powered by a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, delivering a strong balance between capability and efficiency. The powertrain provides brisk acceleration, confident towing capacity, and proven reliability, while its V8 design is known for lower long-term maintenance costs compared to turbocharged competitors, maximizing overall value.
Standard safety features on the Tahoe RST contribute directly to its value proposition, including automatic high beams, electronic stability control, a rearview camera, ABS brakes, and dual-stage airbags. Crucially, these are part of the base equipment, while many rivals offer similar tech only in higher trims or as costly options, ensuring enhanced safety without the upsell.
Comfort and convenience packages come standard, highlighted by perforated leather seating, heated first and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, power liftgate, memory settings, and a 17.7-inch advanced color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Rain-sensing wipers, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a premium surround audio system further reinforce the Tahoeâs standard-equipment advantage.
When evaluated against the Ford Expedition XLT and GMC Yukon SLE, the Tahoe RST offers more high-end features as standard, such as the integrated navigation system and Bose sound, which are either optional or unavailable at similar price points on rivals. This SUVâs trim level is engineered to maximize equipment-per-dollar without forcing an upgrade to luxury tiers.
Buyers often ask what comes standard, and with the RST you receive navigation, premium audio, heated seating throughout, and power-folding third row as no-additional-cost features. The Tahoe RST trim is the sweet spot for value, bundling tech and comfort upgrades that would cost thousands extra on the Expedition or Yukon. That makes it a smart choice for those focused on total ownership value.

An almost luxurious family hauler
by BooneFam on Sunday, May 02, 2021
I purchased a 21 Chevy Tahoe LT October 2020 and my only regret is not getting an RST with sunroof and ventilated seats. Coming from a Silverado RST I prefer the more aggressive appearance. The ride is night and day compared to the Silverado and previous Tahoes I've driven. Smooth handing, very confident in corners, absorbs most bumps well. The Tahoe finally feels premium on the inside, even in the LT trim. Soft touch material everywhere! Tech is finally on par and or better than competitors without going to extreme. The infotainment system isn't perfect but it's smooth and glitch free. Wireless Android auto is the best! Overall the truck is very accommodating in all 3 rows at 6' 2" 270 lbs I approve the third row. I just wish the seating was a little more plush in all rows. Fuel economy is as expected about 16-17 mpg could do better if I ease off the gas. For a mix of Tampa highway and city driving that's not bad. Would love to see a serious Hybrid not like previous poorly executed models. - 5.0
I love my tahoe

I really don’t know why it has such a low rating because my Tahoe is the best! I haven’t had any issues with it, and going strong at 50,000 miles. Beautiful, luxurious & trustworthy. - 5.0

Very happy with this vehicle. Ride is great, comfort is outstanding…so many option and features to it. This is, by far, the best vehicle I have ever owned in 40 years of buying very nice cars.
