Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic buyers looking for a dependable SUV that handles daily commutes, family trips, and unpredictable weather will appreciate the TrailBlazer RS. With all-wheel drive, heated seats, and a hands-free power programmable liftgate, itâs purpose-built for Midwest seasons, including the variable conditions of eastern Iowa. The combination of convenience, comfort, and safety features ensures owners maximize utility and minimize hassles through years of ownership.
The SUVâs 1.3L I3 Turbocharged engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission is engineered for efficiency and longevity, delivering smooth acceleration and consistent performance. The all-wheel drive system adds confidence in slippery conditions and rough roads, while the ride and handling suspension balances comfort with control. Owners benefit from a powertrain designed to deliver reliable service over the long haul, supporting both everyday driving and more demanding road trips.
Safety remains a central pillar of the TrailBlazer RSâs long-term value proposition. Advanced systems, including Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Park Assist, help prevent common parking and lane-change mishaps. Additional safeguards such as ABS brakes, electronic stability control, and a rear vision camera work together to protect your investment and keep occupants secure. These features offer peace of mind for families and anyone seeking to minimize risk and repair costs.
The TrailBlazer RS boasts desirable packages like the Convenience Package and Driver Confidence Package, which translate to tangible benefits: heated front seats and steering wheel enhance comfort in cold weather, while wireless charging and multiple USB ports keep devices powered on every journey. Features such as an 8-way power driver seat, Evotex seat trim, single-zone automatic climate control, and a 6-speaker audio system provide both luxury and everyday functionality. The hands-free liftgate and flat-folding front passenger seatback add versatility for cargo and shopping runs.
When evaluating ownership costs, the TrailBlazer RS stands out among compact SUVs for its blend of durability and features that help retain resale value. Compared to alternatives like the Honda HR-V and Hyundai Kona, it offers competitive all-wheel drive capability and more comprehensive convenience features at a similar price point. Owners also benefit from Chevroletâs reputation for producing reliable, low-maintenance vehicles, supporting long-term satisfaction and lower depreciation risk.

It ok
by Ra200 on 9/5/2026 4:41:25 AM
In till yesterday I would say I love my car and the only problem is the blind spots. However yesterday my exhaust fell off. My warranty’s are saying this wear and tear but I think a car that 3 years old and has less then 60,000 miles (have never hit anything) exist falling off because the screw rust and breaking in half is tell me that Chevy is using cheap materials. Other then this I will say the car is wonderful - 5.0
Actually Better Than Subaru
by Actual OWNER on 6/10/2026 2:14:57 AM
I owned a Trax and now a 2026 Trailblazer LT with lots of packages. I find this less expensive than the RS and Activ yet has the features! Rides great on bumpy country roads near my house! FWD Turbo 3 is surprisingly fast and metal chain ⛓️💥⛓️ cvt is better than the shifts ...smoother... I added a Kicker under seat subwoofer and new kicker speakers..now Trailblazer is perfect. - 4.0
Great Budget Car
by Jason on 4/13/2026 1:58:40 PM
It was very easy to average 35-37 mpg on the highway if you drive conservatively. The interior was mediocre and felt rather cheap. Cabin noise could use some improvement as well. The biggest issue for me was the brakes squeaking so loudly. I took my car to Chevrolet many times, and they said the brakes are perfectly fine. If you are in search of a budget vehicle and have a small family, this vehicle would be perfect. Otherwise, the car was smooth and nice to drive.
