Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic buyers seeking a dependable daily driver with solid efficiency will find the Fusion SE especially appealing. Its 2.5L iVCT engine is known for its longevity and straightforward upkeep, while the 6-speed automatic transmission provides smooth shifts and minimal maintenance demands. The Fusion's comfortable interior and modern infotainment cater to those who want practicality without sacrificing comfort or technology.
Performance in the Fusion is characterized by a balanced focus on efficiency and reliability. The naturally aspirated 2.5L four-cylinder engine is built for durability, with many owners achieving well over 150,000 miles with routine care. The 6-speed automatic transmission enhances both drivability and fuel economy, offering a manufacturer-estimated 22 mpg city and 34 mpg highway, which helps keep running costs low.
Safety is a cornerstone of this sedan's value proposition, thanks to its suite of active and passive protection features. Standard equipment includes ABS brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, and a rearview camera, all designed to help prevent accidents and safeguard your investment. Multiple airbags and emergency communication functions further enhance peace of mind for long-term owners.
The Fusion SE comes well-equipped with features designed to reduce cost of ownership and increase everyday usability. The SE MyFord Touch Technology Package brings advanced connectivity through a touchscreen interface, SiriusXM radio, and steering wheel audio controls. Power front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a split folding rear seat maximize comfort and utility for both drivers and passengers.
Compared to the 2016 Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, the Fusion offers a competitive ownership experience with lower average depreciation and a similar reputation for reliability. While the Camry slightly edges out in resale, the Fusion compensates with advanced technology features at this trim level. Its maintenance and repair costs remain among the most manageable in its class.
Typical oil change intervals are every 7,500 miles with synthetic oil, and scheduled maintenance is straightforward, minimizing time and cost in the shop. The Fusion averages 22 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. Fordâs track record for reliability remains strong, with many Fusion models exceeding 150,000 miles. The standard manufacturer warranty covered 3 years/36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper and 5 years/60,000 miles for the powertrain, safeguarding against major expenses early in ownership.

Favorite Car Ever

I had bought one in 2018, and within two weeks without knowing it, my mother and father had bought one that had more bells and whistles, and my son had also bought one that was actually a 2016 and bought it used. I ended up getting my dance as well after he passed so we have three white hybrids altogether, not including light song who bought one because I bought my other son that SUV hybrid from Ford. So I get about 40 miles per gallon on this hybrid which I would never go fully electric. We’ve bought things on auction and the battery for a fully electric car are so insanely high. The bottom line is that Ford has quit producing the Fusion. It’s such a big loss for us because my husbands Fusion has packed on the miles due to his drive to work, which is why we bought ours in the first place. 2 1/2 hrs one way. I’m praying Ford sees what many of us want. They also downsized their trucks. I want a 350-550 or 3500-5500 depending on the vehicle. I am a truck gal. The only other vehicle I love that was a car, was the 1986 Chevrolet Convertible Cavalier. When you started it up the engine would roar. The convertibles these days feel too smooth and too quiet. I like to hear the power like in my truck. - 5.0

I bought a used 2014 ford fusion for my daughters 1st car recently. First let me say, It has all the bells and whistles, and most importantly, it has a few features that as a parent I LOVE! I can set it so when she gets in the car, her phone goes on do not disturb, i can limit her speed to 60,70 or 80 miles per hour and many other features. There is a keypad on the door which is a hidden feature so i never have to worry about her being locked out and IT HAS THE MOST COMFORTABLE SEATING BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER. PLENTY OF LEG ROOM IN THE BACK AS WELL!
