Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic drivers who value both driving enjoyment and responsible budgeting will appreciate the Mustangâs balance of performance and efficiency. The convertible design enables open-air enjoyment, while features like heated and cooled leather seats and dual-zone climate control support year-round use, even in the variable climates of the Midwest. The Mustangâs reputation for reliability and high desirability in the used car market further reinforce its smart value proposition for buyers aiming for minimal depreciation and lasting satisfaction.
Powering this convertible is the EcoBoost 2.3L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic with Select-Shift and rear-wheel drive. The turbocharged four-cylinder is engineered for a blend of spirited performance and everyday usability, translating to fewer stops at the pump and manageable long-term service needs. Owners benefit from a proven powertrain that is widely recognized for exceeding 100,000 miles with regular maintenance, translating into lower lifetime service costs for spirited commuters and weekend cruisers alike.
Safety in this Mustang is anchored by a suite of active and passive systems designed to protect your investment and occupants. The Blind Spot Info System with Cross-Traffic Alert, rearview camera, and electronic stability control help prevent costly accidents, while multiple airbags, knee protection, and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS provide peace of mind. The inclusion of emergency communication via 911 Assist further enhances long-term security and confidence, safeguarding both your budget and well-being over years of ownership.
This EcoBoost Premium convertible features Equipment Group 201A, adding conveniences like memory driver seat, ambient lighting, and the Shaker Pro Audio System for an upgraded cabin experience. The EcoBoost Performance Package introduces larger brake rotors, a limited-slip rear axle, HD front springs, and a larger radiator, contributing to enhanced durability during spirited drives. Climate-controlled seats, HD Radio, and a power convertible roof add comfort and enjoyment, creating a well-rounded convertible suited for daily use or road trips.
When comparing long-term ownership costs, the Mustang frequently outshines competitors like the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible and Dodge Challenger Convertible.
Routine service for the Mustang, such as oil changes, is generally required every 7,500 miles under normal conditions, helping to keep ongoing costs predictable. While specific fuel economy figures arenât listed here, EcoBoost-powered Mustangs are generally recognized for competitive city and highway mileage among convertibles. Fordâs reputation for building dependable sports cars is backed by JD Power awards for initial quality and dependability.

The best of all worlds for a daily driver if you are willing to give up a little comfort for some extra horse power and the lower mpg that come with it. - 5.0
