Notes from the dealer
This SUV is ideally suited for drivers researching their next vehicle who prioritize comfort, active safety, and flexible utility for daily life and road trips. With its heated ActiveX seating and panoramic Vista Roof, the Edge SEL creates a pleasant environment for both short commutes and longer journeys. Shoppers in regions with diverse weather, such as the Midwest, will appreciate the assurance of all-wheel drive, while the spacious interior and rear seat flexibility accommodate changing family and cargo needs with ease.
Driving the Edge SEL is a 2.0L EcoBoost I4 turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, offering a composed, confident experience on highways and city streets alike. The turbo engine delivers responsive acceleration and smooth power delivery, well-matched to the automatic transmission's seamless shifts. Safety is a core strength of this SUV, with technology designed to actively support the driver. The Edge SEL is equipped with ABS brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, and an emergency communication system (SYNC 4 911 Assist), all working together to help prevent loss of control in slippery or sudden situations. Rear parking sensors assist during tight parking maneuvers, and features like automatic high-beam headlights and a full suite of airbagsâ"including knee airbagsâ"improve protection and visibility in daily driving.
The Edge SEL includes a range of features focused on comfort and convenience. The heated ActiveX front bucket seats and heated steering wheel ensure a warm cabin in colder months, while the dual-zone automatic temperature control allows personalized comfort for driver and passenger. The panoramic Vista Roof enhances interior openness, and the Convenience Package brings practical touches such as remote keyless entry and a power driver seat. Entertainment is supported by a 12-speaker audio system with SiriusXM and 360L capability, controlled via a user-friendly SYNC 4 interface.
Comparing the Edge SEL to other midsize SUVs such as the Chevrolet Blazer and Honda Passport, it stands out with its turbocharged efficiency and a suite of comfort-focused features at this trim level. While competitors may offer similar cargo flexibility, the Edge SEL's combination of all-wheel drive, heated amenities, and advanced connectivity gives it a practical edge for buyers looking for a well-rounded daily driver. The remaining factory powertrain warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles also strengthens its value proposition among used SUVs.
What are the key features of this vehicle? The Edge SEL offers heated ActiveX seating, a panoramic Vista Roof, dual-zone climate control, and a 12-speaker audio system. How does it perform in daily driving? Its turbocharged engine and 8-speed automatic deliver smooth, efficient performance with all-wheel drive for added confidence.

Best Auto in My 64 Years of Owning cars

I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once. - 5.0

Just sold it for $15500. Sure glad I don’t have to depend on KBB, NADA, etc. Every body needs to go to www.shoeboxbooksandpublishing.com and buy this book “Buying A New ( or Used) Car, 5 Things Dealers Don’t Want You To Know “!
