Notes from the dealer
Drivers who appreciate executive presence and upscale comfort will find the Edge SEL tailored for discerning tastes. The interiorâs tactile surfacesâ"soft-touch ActiveX upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power driver seatâ"provide both support and indulgence, making long commutes or weekend escapes equally pleasurable. Dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats maintain a personalized environment regardless of season, which is especially valued during unpredictable Midwest weather. Its feature-rich approach ensures that style and substance go hand in hand for those seeking a premium SUV experience.
On the road, the Edge SELâs EcoBoost 2.0L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine and 8-speed automatic transmission deliver power with remarkable smoothness and minimal vibration. All-wheel drive provides confident traction in rain or snow, while the suspensionâs composure absorbs imperfections for a serene ride. The cabin remains impressively hushed even at highway speeds, thanks to meticulous sealing and insulation, allowing conversation or music from the 12-speaker audio system to take center stage. Merging and passing are executed with quiet authority, underscoring the SUVâs dedication to effortless, refined performance.
Safety in the Edge SEL is both advanced and unobtrusive, enhancing peace of mind without detracting from the premium experience. Active features include ABS brakes, electronic stability control, and traction control, working seamlessly in the background to maintain composure on slick or winding roads. Rear parking sensors and a rearview camera support stress-free maneuvering in tight spaces. The SYNC 4 911 Assist emergency communication system stands ready, while multiple airbags and intelligent seat-belt technologies provide an additional layer of protection for all occupants. These systems function as a silent guardian, letting you focus on the journey with confidence.
This SUVâs feature set is designed for comfort and convenience at every touchpoint. The 12-speaker audio system, AM/FM radio with SiriusXM 360L, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls envelop the cabin with immersive sound, while automatic temperature control and heated mirrors ensure comfort in any climate. The power liftgate offers hands-free access to the cargo area, and remote keyless entry streamlines busy days. Precision touches like the auto-dimming rear-view mirror, illuminated entry, and split-folding rear seat enhance both daily usability and the sense of thoughtful luxury within the Edge SEL.
Among premium SUVs, the Edge SEL stands out by blending tactile quality and acoustic refinement at a compelling value. Compared to competitors like the Nissan Murano and Chevrolet Blazer, this model delivers a quieter cabin and a more cohesive suite of comfort features, especially in real-world driving scenarios.
What premium materials define the Edge SEL's interior? Soft-touch ActiveX trimmed seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel create an inviting, upscale atmosphere. How quiet is the cabin? Carefully engineered insulation and advanced sealing techniques ensure hushed acoustics, making it easy to enjoy conversations or premium audio on long drives.

Best Auto in My 64 Years of Owning cars

I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once. - 5.0

Just sold it for $15500. Sure glad I don’t have to depend on KBB, NADA, etc. Every body needs to go to www.shoeboxbooksandpublishing.com and buy this book “Buying A New ( or Used) Car, 5 Things Dealers Don’t Want You To Know “!
