Notes from the dealer
Analytical buyers seeking to maximize utility and comfort for family, commuting, or all-weather travel will find the Edge Titanium compelling. Its comprehensive standard equipment matches the demands of Iowaâs changing seasons, delivering AWD security, heated amenities, and a hands-free liftgate for hassle-free cargo access. The Medium Soft Ceramic interior and Gray Metallic exterior blend style with practicality, while the SUV's verified one-owner, non-smoker background provides peace of mind for those who value documented ownership. For value-focused researchers, the Edge Titanium's spec sheet measures up favorably against spreadsheet-driven comparisons.
The SUVâs EcoBoost 2.0L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine and 8-speed automatic transmission deliver balanced power and efficiency, providing 21 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highwayâ"figures that translate to real-world fuel savings over time. The AWD system ensures confident performance in varied weather, supporting both daily commuting and weekend family trips. Maintenance costs are kept manageable thanks to proven Ford engineering and widely available parts. In terms of performance-per-dollar, this Edge offers a strong blend of capability and efficiency, making it a practical investment over less-equipped competitors at similar price points.
Standard safety equipment is a standout strength for the Edge Titanium, offering advanced technologies without requiring buyers to upgrade. Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, and a rear camera all come standard, features that many SUVs in this segment only offer as paid options. Integrated ABS, electronic stability control, and emergency communication through SYNC 4 911 Assist provide further assurance at no extra cost. The inclusion of these safety features in the base Titanium trim means owners benefit from advanced protection and peace of mind without inflated pricing.
The Edge Titaniumâs features list is dense with standard, high-value inclusions. ActiveX-trimmed heated sport bucket seats, dual-zone climate control, navigation, a heated steering wheel, and a hands-free power liftgate elevate daily convenience. The B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen and 12-speaker setup deliver premium audio experiences, while rain-sensing wipers, memory seating, and remote keyless entry round out a feature-rich package. These amenities, often reserved for pricier trims or add-ons with competitors, come standard here, translating to immediate savings and daily comfort.
When comparing value, the Ford Edge Titanium consistently surpasses key rivals like the Chevrolet Blazer and Nissan Murano, which often require buyers to select optional packages for similar amenities.
Whatâs included as standard equipment? The Edge Titanium comes with navigation, heated seats, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, and a B&O Sound System standard. Is this SUV worth the price? Given the high-value features, AWD, and one-owner, non-smoker history, it represents a smart investment.

Best Auto in My 64 Years of Owning cars
by Anonymous Reviewer on 7/7/2025 11:35:47 AM
I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once.
