Notes from the dealer
Analytical shoppers seeking a high-value, well-equipped SUV will appreciate what the Edge Titanium brings to the table. Its comprehensive standard equipment appeals to buyers who scrutinize spec sheets and demand more for their dollar. The all-wheel drive system is especially advantageous for Sw Mt Vernon, IA residents who face variable Midwest weather, providing extra confidence on commutes or family trips. The one-owner and non-smoker pedigree adds peace of mind for those prioritizing long-term condition.
Performance in this SUV is anchored by the EcoBoost 2.0L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, delivering a smooth blend of power and efficiency. With EPA ratings of 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, the Edge Titanium offers real-world fuel savings that surpass many larger or less efficient competitors. Maintenance costs are kept reasonable thanks to Fordâs proven turbocharged four-cylinder, giving buyers a power-to-price edge against rivals that require V6 upgrades for similar capability.
Safety value is another core advantage of the Edge Titanium, which includes an impressive suite of standard features at no extra cost. Buyers benefit from Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, a rear camera, ABS brakes, and rain-sensing wipers without having to pay for additional packages. In competing models, these technologies are often reserved for higher trims or bundled into pricey options, making the Edge Titanium a leader in standard safety equipment for its segment.
The Titanium trim equips the Edge with luxury and convenience features that translate directly to daily comfort and long-term savings. Standard ActiveX-trimmed heated sport bucket seats, dual-zone climate control, and a hands-free power liftgate simplify family routines and cargo loading. The B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen enhances every drive with premium audio, while SYNC 4 with 911 Assist provides connectivity and emergency support. All features are included in the Equipment Group 300A, eliminating complex upgrade decisions.
Compared to the Chevrolet Blazer and Honda Passport, the Edge Titanium delivers a stronger feature-to-price ratio. While competitors charge extra for heated seats, advanced safety tech, or a premium sound system, the Edge Titanium includes these features as standard. Its one-owner, non-smoker history adds a unique trust factor, positioning it as a better long-term value for buyers who want to maximize what they receive for their investment without compromising on essential equipment.
What comes standard on the Edge Titanium? Heated leather seating, a heated steering wheel, B&O premium audio, hands-free power liftgate, dual-zone climate control, and advanced driver aidsâ"all included without extra cost. Is this SUV worth the price? For buyers who value comprehensive equipment and proven reliability, it delivers exceptional return on investment.

Best Auto in My 64 Years of Owning cars
by Anonymous Reviewer on 7/7/2025 11:35:47 AM
I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once.
