Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic buyers searching for a high-value SUV will appreciate the Edge's combination of comfort, dependability, and utility. The AWD system is particularly appealing for Midwest drivers who face seasonal weather, while features such as heated ActiveX-trimmed sport bucket seats and a hands-free power liftgate offer daily convenience. The non-smoker, one-owner history further reduces risk for second owners who prioritize durability and a clean interior.
This SUV is powered by the EcoBoost 2.0L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. These components are known for their longevity and smooth operation, supporting the Edgeâs reputation for surpassing 150,000 miles with routine care. The EPA-estimated 21 MPG city and 28 MPG highway figures help control fuel costs over the years, making the Edge a sensible choice for family travel and commuting alike.
Ownership value is reinforced by a comprehensive set of active safety features including Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and a rear camera. These systems help protect passengers and guard your investment by reducing the likelihood of accidents and insurance claims. The presence of ABS brakes, electronic stability control, and a robust airbag suite adds further peace of mind for long-term owners.
The Titanium trim level equips the Edge with premium amenities such as a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, memory seats, and a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen for an upscale driving experience. The hands-free power liftgate and rain-sensing wipers add convenience, making it easier to manage daily errands or road trips regardless of weather. SYNC 4 911 Assist provides emergency communication, enhancing both confidence and practicality.
Compared to alternatives like the Honda Passport and Chevrolet Blazer, the Edge Titanium offers a compelling balance of reliability, feature content, and ownership costs. The Edgeâs AWD and strong EcoBoost engine are well-suited for drivers who demand durability and value, while its reputation for strong resale and lower depreciation positions it ahead in long-term economic sense.

I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once. - 5.0

Just sold it for $15500. Sure glad I don’t have to depend on KBB, NADA, etc. Every body needs to go to www.shoeboxbooksandpublishing.com and buy this book “Buying A New ( or Used) Car, 5 Things Dealers Don’t Want You To Know “!
