Its navigation system and power liftgate enhance convenience for busy lifestyles, while the quiet, refined interior creates a comfortable environment for longer journeys.
A responsive EcoBoost 2.0L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine powers the Edge, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers smooth acceleration and confident highway merging, while the AWD system provides added grip on slick roads. The SUVâs suspension balances comfort and composure, absorbing rough pavement for a relaxed ride, and the transmission shifts unobtrusively to keep power delivery seamless in city or highway settings. With EPA ratings of 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, efficiency is competitive for its class.
Safety is central to the Edge Titaniumâs design, with advanced systems that actively support the driver. Blind Spot Monitoring helps detect vehicles in adjacent lanes, while Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist offer gentle steering input to prevent unintentional drifting. Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a set distance from vehicles ahead, reducing driver fatigue on long trips. Front and rear cameras, along with Reverse Sensing, provide visual and audible cues to ease parking and avoid obstacles, and rain-sensing wipers automatically adjust speed for changing conditions.
The Titanium trim is equipped with high-end amenities to elevate everyday use. The Panoramic Vista Roof floods the cabin with natural light, while heated second-row seats keep rear passengers comfortable. The B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen delivers immersive audio, and navigation ensures routes are easy to follow. The SUVâs ActiveX-trimmed heated sport bucket seats are both stylish and easy to clean, ideal for active families.
Within the midsize SUV segment, the Edge Titanium stands out against alternatives like the Chevrolet Blazer and Nissan Murano by emphasizing upscale features and proven reliability. Its one-owner, non-smoker history is a unique advantage, signaling careful previous ownership. Compared to competitors, the Edge's AWD capability and comfort-focused interior make it a strong choice for buyers who prioritize both driving confidence and day-to-day luxury.

Best Auto in My 64 Years of Owning cars
by Anonymous Reviewer on 7/7/2025 11:35:47 AM
I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once.
