Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic buyers who prioritize vehicles with a strong track record for reliability, low long-term depreciation, and minimal unexpected repairs will find this SUV a logical choice. Its high-strength frame, resilient powertrain, and functional interior design are engineered for those who want a dependable daily driver that also excels when challenged by outdoor adventures or tough conditions.
Engineered for longevity, the Wranglerâs 3.6L V6 delivers 285 horsepower paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, offering a blend of refined power and robust durability. Owners routinely report reliable operation well past 150,000 miles when maintenance schedules are followed. The powertrain is designed to require infrequent major repairs, supporting lower lifetime service costs.
From an ownership perspective, safety features like ABS brakes, electronic stability control, and the ParkView rear backup camera serve as investment protection by minimizing accident risk and potential repair bills. Integrated roll-over protection and multiple airbags further contribute to peace of mind for long-term use, reducing the likelihood of costly incidents.
Value-driven packages such as the Cold Weather Group and Convenience Group maximize comfort and usability, offering benefits like remote start, heated seats, and a rear window defroster. The Uconnect 3 system with a 5-inch display, steering wheel audio controls, and split folding rear seats enhance practicality, supporting both daily needs and recreational versatility.
Compared to segment rivals like the Toyota 4Runner and Ford Bronco, the Wrangler stands out with its established reputation for resale value and durable construction. While competitors may offer similar features, this SUVâs combination of proven reliability, lower depreciation, and robust aftermarket support gives it a distinct edge in cost of ownership.
Owners typically follow a maintenance schedule with oil changes every 7,500 to 10,000 miles and routine inspections at regular intervals. The Wrangler averages an EPA-estimated 17 MPG city and 23 MPG highway, balancing efficiency with off-road capability. Jeepâs reliability history is strong, with many owners reporting minimal issues over years of use. The basic warranty covers 3 years or 36,000 miles, complemented by a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, providing solid assurance for key components.

Best 4 wheel drive ever! Perfect in the snow! I am never afraid of being stuck in the harsh NYS weather. Drives and runs like a dream and has never been in the shop other than for regular service! Love it!!! - 5.0
Fun in the sun

This Jeep is great in the snow and fun in the sun! The Sky One Touch power top is an amazing option that allows you to open or close the roof in seconds, while still having the nicer look of the hard top and you don’t have to mess with the hassle of removing the heavy pieces. I’ve put almost 50,000 miles on my 2023 and haven’t had any issues whatsoever with the vehicle. Great roomy vehicle that’s fun for off roading, or just cruising around. - 5.0
Great Jeep!

I seriously couldn't be happier with my 2019 Rubicon with the V6 and 6-speed. I think they did an amazing job on this Jeep. Stellantis and the dealer network can probably be improved based on stories I've heard, but everything has been great for me. Don't buy a Jeep expecting a Highlander, but it is seriously great at what it is supposed to be.
