Tech-focused drivers who value constant connection and smart integration will find this truck particularly appealing. Itâs ideal for those who rely on their smartphones for navigation, communication, and media streaming, as the infotainment system makes app access intuitive and straightforward. The inclusion of voice command, steering wheel audio controls, and a universal garage door opener further supports users who expect their cabin to function as an extension of their digital lives.
Performance in the Gladiator Sport benefits from a 3.6L V6 24V VVT engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering power efficiently with the support of electronic throttle control. The truck features selectable drive modes, including Normal Duty Plus Suspension, which adapts for varying terrain. The integrated cluster display provides real-time performance metrics, while heavy-duty engine cooling and a 240-amp alternator support tech use in demanding conditions.
Safety in this truck is enhanced by a suite of intelligent electronic systems. The ParkView rear backup camera offers dynamic guidelines for parking and trailer alignment, while electronic stability control, traction control, and anti-lock four-wheel heavy-duty disc brakes use sensor data to maintain grip and prevent skids. The security alarm, speed-sensitive power locks, and remote keyless entry add digital layers of protection and peace of mind.
Key features include the Technology Group, which bundles advanced connectivity assets like the 7.0-inch touchscreen, multiple USB ports, and a GPS antenna input for reliable navigation. The Convenience Group offers auto temperature control and power windows, while the Trailer Tow Package integrates Trailer Hitch Zoom for precise hitching. Power heated mirrors, deep tint sunscreen windows, and auto headlamps combine tech and comfort seamlessly.
Against competitors like the Toyota Tacoma and Ford Ranger, the Gladiator distinguishes itself with a larger, crisper infotainment display and broader smartphone integration. Its Uconnect system is renowned for responsive software and intuitive layout, and the inclusion of both CarPlay and Android Autoâ"often missing on rival base trimsâ"ensures superior versatility for connected lifestyles.
This truck supports wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing users to mirror apps, stream music, and receive texts via the touchscreen. Driver assistance includes a rear camera, electronic stability, and trailer zoom. The infotainment systemâs interface is more user-friendly than many rivals, and while remote start via phone app is not standard, advanced keyless entry and power locks enable quick access and security.

The Most Fun Car I've Ever Driven
by Jaime on 3/7/2026 2:09:47 PM
My 2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave Pickup 4D 5 ft is hands-down the most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned. Every drive puts a huge smile on my face. The Fox shocks make it glide over rough terrain and fly through sand like nothing else. The 3.6L V6 has plenty of power. Taking the doors off and feeling the open-air rush while hauling gear in the bed? Pure joy. It’s a capable daily driver too, solid on highways, great for towing, but it truly comes alive off-road. Fuel economy is ok and it’s a bit noisy, but those are small prices for this level of excitement. If you want real truck utility mixed with unbeatable fun and adventure, the Gladiator Mojave delivers. 5 stars! Highly recommended. - 5.0

God I love this thing

It's a cool vehicle, but you need expectations that match.. If you go into it expecting a GMC Denali, you are going to be ultra disappointed. However if you go into it thinking Jeep Wrangler, you will be extremely happy.. The ride is less jarring than a wrangler.. The interior space in seating is about the same. Road noise is loud, mpg is terrible, but in the winter, it will go through whatever snow you have, in the summer, no doors, no top, and sun in your hair.. It makes it all worth having it. The v6 makes enough power, the 8-speed ZF is the best automatic i have ever driven.. There's no rattles, it's amazing, not a single squeak or rattle. The only thing I will recommend is buy the Rubicon.. The Mojave is a nice truck, but the suspension is trash, it's too soft, which causes you to smash bump stops over speed bumps. There's a TSB and recall on the suspension, and no fix.. The issue is fox specific and it's also recalled in the raptor, z71 chevy, and some other vehicles. So, save the headache, the rubicon is a better option. All said, i love this thing..
