Transmission
by Bruce Potter on Monday, February 27, 2023
Transmission broke at 17000 took 3 months to get parts for rebuild, defrost strips coming off rear glass, replaced , fix rear camera twice, cracked catalytic converter left side, be nice car if I could keep it out of shop. So warranty has covered everything. Fun to drive, impressed with performance. - 1.0
Another hacked together vehicle at a high cost
by AGlover on Tuesday, July 05, 2022
Started with paneling popping off at Less than 5k miles, then the window became stuck in the down position, 2 hours at the dealer from them to just get it back up and tell us the post won’t be in for awhile, now the radio isn’t working. Every mechanical malfunction came with Parts that were scorching hot to the touch when trying to troubleshoot. It’s at 11500 miles, owned since March and have regretted it since. - 4.0
3rd Explorer and still happy
by NoHo on Wednesday, September 08, 2021
This is my third Explorer and I still love it. I drive about 25,000 a year with a heavy foot and typically drive my cars to the ground. In 4 months I’ve owned it, I already put 12,000 miles and fortunately zero issues, it’s swerving capabilities are still good, I enjoy the assisted driving, the sound from the speakers are clean and clear. It’s actually pretty quiet.
