Notes from the dealer
Driving enthusiasts who seek a truck that makes daily commutes and weekend adventures equally engaging will appreciate what this model offers. The precise steering, responsive 2.7L EcoBoost V6, and well-calibrated 10-speed automatic combine to create a dynamic drive, satisfying those who notice how a vehicle responds to every input. Features like selectable drive modes and sport cloth seats further enhance the experience for those who value tactile feedback and a strong connection to the machine.
This truckâs 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, giving it brisk acceleration and lively throttle response. The 10-speed automatic shifts quickly and smoothly, especially in sport mode, where gears hold longer and downshift eagerly. The steering feels direct and connected, with just enough weight to encourage spirited driving. The independent front suspension settles confidently over broken pavement, while the brakes bite firmly and inspire trust during aggressive stops, making back road drives as rewarding as highway cruising.
Safety technology in this F-150 is tuned to support, not override, driver involvement. Electronic Stability Control subtly helps maintain composure when pushing through quick transitions, while the integrated trailer brake controller and Pro Trailer Backup Assist add precision when towing without numbing steering feel. Emergency braking assistance and a rearview camera enhance confidence in everyday scenarios, intervening only when necessary so the driver remains in control.
Inside, the XLT trim features a wrapped steering wheel for a premium grip, 10-way power front seats for perfect positioning, and a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen for immersive audio on spirited drives. SYNC 4 with Enhanced Voice Recognition keeps the cockpit focused, while the 8-inch productivity screen offers real-time driving data. Heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, and intelligent access deliver comfort and convenience, so each drive feels purposeful.
Compared to rivals like the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST and Ram 1500 Big Horn, the F-150 XLT stands out for its steering precision and chassis balance. While competitors offer strong powertrains, this truckâs engaging handling and lively V6 make it more enjoyable on winding roads and in daily traffic, rewarding those who value driver connection and a tactile experience over pure straight-line speed.
Enthusiasts often ask if the F-150 XLT is fun to driveâ"the answer is yes, thanks to its sharp steering and responsive power delivery. In sport mode, the transmissionâs quick shifts and eager downshifting transform the character of the truck. Steering feels connected, offering clear feedback even on twisty routes. The suspension tuning strikes a balance between comfort and control, making spirited driving both possible and rewarding, whether commuting or exploring backroads.

Recall Hevan
by Walt on Monday, September 08, 2025
Worst vehicle ever made. If you enjoy going to the dealership ship once a month for recalls then this truck is meant for you. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a truck. FORD really does stand for fix or repair daily.....we'll monthly for the newer F150s. - 2.0

It’s an amazing truck, but we big issues .We had the truck for about 6 months and the truck battery isn’t good anymore. After an update the truck stopped charging & it doesn’t have power to run .We took it to the dealership and it’s already 1 month and they keep saying that they can’t track the parts to replace the battery., but we still paying a lot of money for the loan. Ridiculous.
