2023 Ford F-150 XLT
- Used
Notes from the dealer
Truck shoppers comparing multiple models will find the F-150 XLT particularly rewarding for those prioritizing work-readiness, daily comfort, and high-tech safety. Its blend of a turbocharged 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine, advanced towing aids, and premium interior features makes it ideal for buyers who need both rugged off-road capability and refined commuter comfort without sacrificing reliability or future resale.
Performance-wise, while competitors may offer larger displacement engines, the F-150 XLTâs 2.7L V6 EcoBoost delivers impressive torque, strong towing confidence, and superior efficiency. The 10-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and is complemented by selectable drive modes, including Rock Crawl for off-road versatility. The FX4 Off-Road Package and trailer-focused technologies position it as a standout for tough jobs and demanding conditions.
Safety is another area where the F-150 XLT excels, as Ford includes advanced features like Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise with Stop & Go, and a 360-degree camera system as standard or readily available. Unlike some competitors that charge extra for these systems, this truckâs Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 suite enhances driver awareness and makes every journey more secure in changing environments.
The XLT trimâs Equipment Group 302A High unlocks heated sport cloth seats, dual-zone climate control, and an 8-inch productivity screen, ensuring the cabin is comfortable and connected. Built-in navigation, SYNC 4 with enhanced voice recognition, powered driver and passenger seats, and Intelligent Access with push-button start elevate convenience. Trailer Tow and FX4 Off-Road packages add real-world capability for both work and recreation.
Against the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Ram 1500, the F-150 XLT distinguishes itself with a more advanced active safety suite, a unique Pro Trailer Backup Assist system, and a balanced approach to power and efficiency. While rivals may tout interior space or V8 engines, this truckâs tech-forward cabin and standard features strengthen its reputation for long-term value and versatility.
Buyers often ask why to choose this model over others: it offers best-in-class towing aids, a powerful yet efficient EcoBoost engine, and standard advanced safety tech. The F-150âs SYNC 4 system and 360-degree camera arenât found standard on most competitors. For those seeking the best overall value in capability, comfort, and future resale, the F-150 XLT is a leading choice in the full-size truck segment.

Recall Hevan
by Walt on Monday, September 08, 2025
Worst vehicle ever made. If you enjoy going to the dealership ship once a month for recalls then this truck is meant for you. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a truck. FORD really does stand for fix or repair daily.....we'll monthly for the newer F150s. - 2.0

It’s an amazing truck, but we big issues .We had the truck for about 6 months and the truck battery isn’t good anymore. After an update the truck stopped charging & it doesn’t have power to run .We took it to the dealership and it’s already 1 month and they keep saying that they can’t track the parts to replace the battery., but we still paying a lot of money for the loan. Ridiculous.
