Notes from the dealer
Enthusiasts who value the art of driving will appreciate the Edge ST Line's blend of athleticism and comfort. Designed for drivers who scrutinize steering feel and chassis response, this SUV rewards those who test-drive with intention. The non-smoker ownership history adds peace of mind, while features like heated seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and adaptive cruise control ensure both daily usability and pleasure. In regions with variable weather, the AWD system enhances confidence for backroad exploration and urban commutes alike.
Behind the wheel, the Edge ST Line's 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged engine delivers turbocharged punch that responds quickly to throttle inputs, making highway merges and passing genuinely satisfying. The 8-speed automatic transmission executes crisp, timely shifts, especially in its sportier driving modes, allowing for quick acceleration and smooth downshifts when needed. The steering weights up naturally as speeds rise, communicating road texture and inspiring confidence on winding roads. The four-wheel independent suspension absorbs imperfections yet keeps the SUV planted, while brake pedal feel remains firm and progressive, inviting you to push harder when the road turns twisty.
Safety technology in the Edge ST Line is crafted to enhance, not detract from, the driving experience. Systems like Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control subtly intervene to preserve driver control without being intrusive, allowing spirited driving with an extra margin of security. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go maintains a set distance in traffic while keeping response sharp for easy driver override. Lane Keep Assist and Lane Centering gently nudge the SUV back on course if distracted, working in harmony with the steering's natural feel. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Camera support confident lane changes and tight parking, giving reassurance without sacrificing engagement.
The Equipment Group 250A package brings an array of features that elevate both driving enjoyment and comfort. ActiveX trimmed heated bucket seats keep you firmly supported through corners and cozy in colder seasons. The heated steering wheel adds tactile luxury, while Dual Zone Climate Control allows driver and passenger to tailor their environment.
Against rivals like the Chevrolet Blazer RS and Nissan Murano SL, the Edge ST Line stands out with its sharper steering and sport-tuned suspension, offering a more connected and involving drive.
Enthusiast drivers often ask if the Edge ST Line truly feels engaging on twisty roadsâ"the answer is yes, thanks to its communicative steering and composed chassis. In Sport mode, the 8-speed automatic shifts with urgency, holding gears longer and responding instantly to throttle blips. The steering feels precise and responsive, making winding roads an enjoyable playground rather than a chore.

Best Auto in My 64 Years of Owning cars

I love my edge! I bought this car in the end of 2018 and have owed it for over 6 years. NO repairs needed. I am so happy not to have had it tied up for repairs as I am a REALTOR and drive part of every day. The only thing I have had done have been service. Keeping up with oil changes is so necessary. Oh, and I did replace the tires once. - 5.0

Just sold it for $15500. Sure glad I don’t have to depend on KBB, NADA, etc. Every body needs to go to www.shoeboxbooksandpublishing.com and buy this book “Buying A New ( or Used) Car, 5 Things Dealers Don’t Want You To Know “!
