Notes from the dealer
Pragmatic buyers seeking a dependable workhorse with premium comforts will appreciate the F-150 Platinum. Its advanced active safety features, luxurious leather interior, and high-end technology cater to those who want utility without sacrificing refinement. The proven reliability of the F-Series platform means buyers worried about longevity and value retention will find peace of mind in ownership.
A proven powertrain is central to the F-150's appeal, featuring a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Renowned for its durability, this engine is engineered for 150,000+ mile performance under regular maintenance. The 4WD system and electronic locking rear differential are designed for both tough job sites and all-weather driving, supporting the F-150's legacy of rugged endurance.
Safety is a significant part of this truck's long-term value equation. Advanced technologies like Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a 360-degree camera system help protect the vehicle and its occupants, reducing the risk of costly incidents. These systems not only enhance driver confidence but also contribute to lower potential repair or insurance expenses over years of ownership.
The F-150 Platinum offers features that directly benefit ownership experience, such as heated and ventilated unique Multi-Contour leather seats for year-round comfort and memory functions for convenience. The Equipment Group 702A High adds navigation, a B&O premium sound system, and adaptive cruise, while SYNC 4 911 Assist and FordPass Connect 5G provide connectivity and emergency support, enhancing daily usability.
Compared to rivals like the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country and Ram 1500 Limited, the F-150 Platinum consistently leads in projected resale value and reliability. While competitors may offer similar luxury features, the Ford's track record for long-term durability and lower depreciation rates reinforces its status as a cost-effective, smart ownership choice in the full-size truck segment.
Routine maintenance for the F-150 Platinum typically includes oil changes every 7,500 miles with synthetic oil, supporting longevity. The 3.5L EcoBoost delivers balanced city and highway efficiency for a full-size truck; EPA numbers should be confirmed for this model year. Ford's reputation for reliability remains strong, and the included comprehensive warranty generally covers 3 years/36,000 miles, with the powertrain protected for 5 years/60,000 miles.

Recall Hevan
by Walt on Monday, September 08, 2025
Worst vehicle ever made. If you enjoy going to the dealership ship once a month for recalls then this truck is meant for you. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a truck. FORD really does stand for fix or repair daily.....we'll monthly for the newer F150s. - 2.0

It’s an amazing truck, but we big issues .We had the truck for about 6 months and the truck battery isn’t good anymore. After an update the truck stopped charging & it doesn’t have power to run .We took it to the dealership and it’s already 1 month and they keep saying that they can’t track the parts to replace the battery., but we still paying a lot of money for the loan. Ridiculous.
