Dealer Notes
The 2025 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD Crew Cab is a midsize pickup engineered to deliver practical capability, modern technology, and everyday comfort in a manageable footprint. Powered by a turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this Ranger balances responsive performance with efficiency, making it well suited for drivers who need versatility without stepping into a full-size truck.
This Ranger XLT is ideal for buyers who want a truck that supports both work and personal use. The four-door Crew Cab provides usable rear-seat space for passengers, while the XLT trim focuses on convenience, connectivity, and durability. It fits drivers who haul gear, tow recreational equipment, or commute daily and want a vehicle that adapts easily to changing demands.
The EcoBoost 2.3L turbocharged inline-four delivers strong low-end torque, which is especially useful when accelerating with a load or climbing grades. The 10-speed automatic transmission keeps shifts smooth and helps the engine stay in its optimal power range. This powertrain is known for balanced efficiency and has a reputation for dependable long-term operation when maintained on a regular service schedule.
Safety systems are designed to support driver awareness and vehicle stability across varying conditions. Features such as electronic stability control, traction management, advanced airbag coverage, and available driver-assist technologies work together to help reduce risk during emergency maneuvers. The Ranger is built on a reinforced frame and has published crash-test data available for shoppers researching occupant protection.
Equipment Group 300A Standard provides a solid foundation of comfort and technology, including SYNC 4 with Connected Navigation, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and FordPass Connect 4G capability. The Trailer Tow Package expands utility for hauling small campers or utility trailers, while alloy wheels, fog lights, and interior convenience features enhance daily usability without unnecessary complexity.
Within the midsize truck segment, the Ranger competes closely with models like the Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado. Compared to Tacoma, the Ranger emphasizes turbocharged responsiveness and on-road refinement. Against the Colorado, it stands out for intuitive infotainment and a drivetrain tuned for both efficiency and towing confidence, appealing to drivers who want balanced performance.
Shoppers often ask what separates the XLT from lower trims, and the answer lies in added technology, comfort features, and upgraded interior materials. The turbocharged engine is frequently chosen for its torque delivery and efficiency. Many buyers also ask about towing usability, and the available tow package supports recreational needs while keeping the truck comfortable for daily driving.

Hard to explain, but is is definitely amazing
By SlinkTMP | on Saturday, January 25, 2025
I bought a used Ford Ranger Raptor with 2k miles on it. I was buying a new one but this had all the extra I would have put on the truck. This is an amazing and powerful truck and when you need the power, this vehicle has it. You will be at the gas station more, but the ride is worth it. The view in the truck for driving is amazing as you feel like you are sitting above everything but because it is a mid-size, it is nimble. If you want a fun truck, this is it. It is a Raptor that is 30k less than the Bronco and F-150. It is also top of the line and 10 K less than the Tacoma and Colorado, with a 6 cylinder.… - 5.0
Best midsize truck
By Soultilt | on Wednesday, July 30, 2025
This truck stock truly is a Swiss Army knife it will do everything at a high level will it be the best no but its versatility is unmatched. The F150 and Bronco raptor are awesome in their own rights but gigantic on the streets and hard to fit on tight trails. The nimbleness of the Ranger Raptor allows you to daily drive, rock crawl blast thru the desert all at the same time for a very reasonable price compared to the competition. Ford nailed it with the Ranger Raptor.…
