On February 16th, Lynch Ford Chevrolet had a successful night at the Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kid's Sake Fundraiser. This is the 21st year Lynch employees have participated, and in total we have raised $29,857 over the years for Big Brothers Big Sisters through bowling. Thank you to everyone who contributed and participated in this event!

Ken Stanford - Shuttle Driver

Ken Stanford - (1 year at Lynch Ford Chevrolet)

A brief synopsis of your role:

As a shuttle driver I have the pleasure of picking up and dropping off service customers. 

What’s the best part(s) of your job?

What I enjoy most about my position at Lynch is meeting our customers, having a great conversation with them and knowing that they are satisfied with their service we have provided them. 

Hobbies, interests, fun facts/info about you?

I retired from Alliant Energy after 30 years and then retired from Aesseal after 10 years.

Brett Givens - Quick Lane Advisor

Brett Givens - (4 years at Lynch Ford Chevrolet)

A brief synopsis of your role:

As a Quick Lane Advisor I check in customers into the Quick Lane and oversee the services being done to their vehicles, which includes oil changes, tires, brakes, etc.

What’s the best part(s) of your job?

The best parts of my job is being able to chat with many different customers throughout the day and working with a great team of employees at Lynch. 

Hobbies, interests, fun facts/info about you?

I enjoy all sports and also like hunting…

Lynch Ford Chevrolet hosted their first blood drive at the dealership yesterday. In total there were fourteen employees and one spouse that donated blood. With this blood donation up to 45 local patients will be receiving life-saving blood and/or blood products. ??

Congrats to our January Employee of the Month, Kevin Theilen. Kevin has been working at Lynch for the past year as a Line Technician. He went above and beyond to get a customer's vehicle fixed and back on the road in a timely manner. Thank you Kevin for your commitment to Lynch!

 

Congratulations to Kyle Dircks who was awarded Lynch Ford Chevrolet's 2023 Employee of the Year! Kyle has been a valued employee to Lynch for the past 1.5 years in the Detail Department. Employees that voted for Kyle commented on his positive attitude and always willing to help out others. Kyle is an asset to the dealership because of his dependability, great attitude, and ability to go above and beyond for the dealership and coworkers.

Lynch employees volunteered last week to help pack 150 Christmas boxes of food at Southeast Linn Community Center in Lisbon. These boxes will be given out to the community for Christmas.

Nic Jansen - (5 years at Lynch Ford Chevrolet)

A brief synopsis of your role:

As a Quick Lane Technician I maintain customer's vehicles by doing maintenance, oil changes, replacing brakes and tires, new tires/tire rotations, and alignments.

What’s the best part(s) of your job?

In my position as a technician I feel it helps me develop useful skills that I will be able to use the rest of my life.
